Lake Erie is a relatively shallow lake which apparently explains why there are so many boats on the bottom of it. It doesn’t take too much wind to whip up the waves pretty good. While it wasn’t by any means a threat to boating this morning it was indeed a bit choppy for swimming. I didn’t feel like it but I got myself in there (it wasn’t so bad at little beach) and spent an hour zig-zagging back and forth. Here’s proof of the conditions.

But it didn't look so bad from up higher.

And that was it for today. We had a nice visit from Jon and Alisha and we all took a nature walk down to Hawk Cliff.
I wish to dedicate day 326 to
Ogopogo, who will no doubt keep the lake calm on Aug 30th.
